Frequently Asked Questions

Thinking about joining a class? Here are the questions parents and carers ask us most often.

What do I need to know before I enrol?

Please read our Terms and Conditions before you enrol — they cover everything from fees to make-up classes.

Can I enrol on a casual basis?

We prefer term enrolment, as the continuity helps children build confidence. Casual classes are available at $32 per session, in classes that are not full. Casual spots need to be booked the day before.

Can I trial a class before committing to a term?

Yes. Trial classes are $32 and are subject to class capacity. A trial does not guarantee that the spot will be saved for you.

I have a younger child too — can they come along?

Absolutely. Siblings under 6 months attend free of charge, and siblings over 6 months receive a 50% discount. Please register every child who comes to class when you enrol — including the free under-6-month-olds — so we know who’s in the room. Your older child attends their age-appropriate class while younger siblings enjoy the activities too.

How do I enrol siblings?

Register the oldest child first online, then add your younger children. To book siblings into the same class and make sure the discount is applied, call the office on 0431 338 143 or send us a message. All children must be registered.

What if my child does not react the same as other children in class?

Every child responds in their own way. Some watch quietly while others dance and move freely — all children are absorbing what goes on in their own way.

Can I join in even if the term has started?

Yes. Enrolment is open throughout the term, and fees are prorated for the lessons remaining — so you only pay for the classes you attend.

What do you do in classes?

Classes are mat-based, with the carer on the mat together with their child. We teach children the fundamentals of music — beat, pitch, rhythm and tempo — through singing, dancing and movement, finishing with a drum jam.

Why do we sing some of the same songs every week?

Repetition builds confidence and familiarity. It helps children absorb the material and develop their own favourites.

How long are classes?

Classes run for 45 minutes, and terms are 10 weeks — shorter if there are public holidays.

Do you offer make-up classes?

Yes. Full-term students receive two make-up classes per term. To be eligible, give us at least 2 hours notice of an absence.

How do I contact you if I have more questions?

Call us on 0431 338 143 or send us a message — we are happy to help.

Do you offer Daycare and After School Care?

Yes. Contact the office for availability and enrolment details.

What happens if I’m late picking up my child from After School Care?

Late pickups incur a fee of $2.00 per minute, capped at $50.00.

Can I get a refund or make-up if my child misses a Daycare or After School Care session?

No. There are no refunds, credits or make-up sessions for missed Daycare or After School Care days.
