Einsteinz Music classes are grouped by age, so every child develops alongside their peers in a program pitched just right for their stage.
From first sounds to first songs, here is what each age group focuses on. If enrolment numbers don’t support a separate class, age groups may be combined — and the lesson plan is designed around the children actually in the room.
Babies — 6 to 18 months
Baby classes are all about self-discovery through touching songs, games, rhymes and chants. Language grows through simple echoing games and gentle songs, while beat is introduced through patting, rocking, walking and bouncing.
The focus is on exploring sound, getting hands on instruments, and giving babies the chance to vocalise and respond to social cues.
Toddlers — 18 months to 2.5 years
Toddler classes build listening skills and early social skills — saying hello and goodbye, taking turns, waiting, and following instructions.
Language develops through sounds, repetition, finishing song lyrics, and naming animals, colours and numbers. Movement and percussion playing strengthen motor skills, and children begin to grasp the concept of beat — synchronising music through movement and rhythm instruments — while expressing themselves and following two-step instructions.
Preschoolers — 2.5+ years
By the age of three, children can sing simple songs and phrases with some accuracy, skip and gallop in time to music, and play the drums with two hands.
From around four, the world of music really begins to open up — and Preschooler classes give that curiosity room to grow.
